Important Information – Please read

Amateur groups, schools and colleges around the world perform our shows and have great fun doing so. But, not all of our shows are available all of the time and so the following information is very important.

• Check this site to ensure the show you wish to perform is available to you.
• We licence two types of groups Amateurs and Professionals. Amateur groups are those who do not pay their actors (e.g. academic schools and colleges, religious groups, amateur dramatic societies). Professional groups are those who employ either Equity or non-Equity actors who are paid or on profit share.
• Performance rights are not automatically available but it is possible to obtain rights to perform some of our shows, for amateur or professional stage production; and the individual songs for concert use by obtaining a performance licence, subject to restrictions.
• Rights can be withdrawn for a number of reasons; for instance, if a professional production is taking place in your area.
• It is therefore extremely important that you do not make any plans or preparations for a production until you have checked with us or one of our agents and have secured a performance licence!
